Guidance for authors & reviewers
Prepare a complete submission and a constructive, confidential review.
Publisher framework · Last website publication:
Before submission
Select a journal whose scope matches the work and read its current author guidance, review model, rights and fee information. Prepare the manuscript in the required format, with complete author names and affiliations, a corresponding author, abstract, references, figures and any supplementary files. Add funding, competing-interest, data availability, ethics and substantive AI-use statements where relevant.
Submit through the official route
Use the manuscript submission link on the chosen journal's website. Declare related publications and preprints, and obtain the agreement of all co-authors. Do not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals at the same time. For a revised manuscript, include a clear response to each editorial and reviewer comment.
Reviewing responsibly
Accept a review only where you have relevant expertise and can meet the agreed deadline. Declare competing interests before accessing or evaluating the manuscript. Assess the research question, methods, evidence, clarity and limitations. Distinguish necessary corrections from optional suggestions, use a professional tone and explain your recommendations. Do not use unpublished findings for personal advantage or require irrelevant citations. Tell the editor privately about suspected integrity problems.
Books and special collections
For a book or special collection proposal, contact MYSER with the topic, intended readership, contribution to the field, proposed contents and the editors' or authors' relevant experience. An enquiry is an invitation to discuss a proposal and does not constitute a publishing agreement.
